Wednesday with Watson
Made a trip to Lewisville today for Watsons’ check up with his neurologist. All is good. His brain just fires a little different than the rest of the world. If you know him, that is no surprise. He is much improved since he was in the hospital and the new dose of meds seems to be helping. We are happy, but it has been a long day and we are back home and ready to call it a night. Here is hoping everyone had a great day! After all, it was Wednesday with Watson.
Wednesday with Watson
Beautiful day in our neighborhood. Hope everyone takes the time to stop and smell the roses, or in Watson’s case, the grass. Have a good one on this Wednesday with Watson!
TB Thursday
Watson’s first summer was very exhausting. He could fall asleep anytime and anywhere!
Wednesday with Watson
Wednesday finds Watson a little annoyed with me. Last week was not a fun week for our boy. Had to visit the neurologist about his brain. Which, in case you are wondering, does exist and I have seen the pictures! Watson has been having seizures and last Tuesday he have a bad one, so they decided to do an MRI and a spinal tap. I was worried that his little brain was going to be eaten up with cancer or cyst. Or maybe he had meningitis. But, no brain damage that is visible, no tumor, no evidence of stroke and no inflammation in the spinal fluid. The boys brain looks good folks, but as a result of his last round of seizures, his eyesight was affected. Blind. But slowly it is coming back. Seems sometimes they get nerve damage to the optical nerve. So, everyday I am poking my finger at him, hoping for a blink. Well, he is blinking and he is tired of me trying to poke his eye out. Seriously annoyed. So now instead of 2 , Watson is on 3 different meds to control these seizures. Been hard on my heart!
The shaved leg for his IV has started to itch..looks like a poodle cut to me.
You can see how his back was shaved for the spinal tap.
God knew this boy was going to need help. God also knew I would take care of him. We were meant to be together.
Birthday Eve
Only 1 more day!! Watson is not as excited about turning 3 as the rest of our family. I think he feels like every day is a celebration of life. May we all live and love like our puppies.
Manic Monday
Watson was up early and ready to run this morning. He must realize this is his birthday week. He seems to be tearing up all his old toys, knowing new ones are coming soon! Hope everyone has a wonderful manic Monday.
Wednesday with Watson
I only thought I liked that flip flop. Pushing 3..still needs adult supervision. That dang Watson.
Nap Time
It was a little cool in Texas for today. The afternoon was spent on the couch trying to stay awake and warm. We were just a tab bit lazy today. But the forecast for next week is the 70’s so we are looking forward to brighter and warmer days!
Wednesday with Watson
The weather is not bad for January. Got up to 72 degrees in Fort Worth yesterday. Today promises to be a little more seasonal, in the 50’s, but the sun is going to shine! We are going to work on raking up some of these leaves!
