Traveling back to Texas is easier if you are the big dog of the family and can sleep all the way! Arkansas wore this boy out.

Time Well Spent
Sunday afternoon was spent enjoying this wonderful world. The birds were singing and the ducks were quacking. We have a mom sitting on her eggs across the way and it was such a joy to watch her tending the nest. The dad came by on occasion to check on his family. We had a great day. It was time well spent.

Good Friday Morning
Beautiful morning in Arkansas this Good Friday. We have been out communing with nature and saying our prayers for everyone. Enjoy the day!
Thursday Turmoil
The people in Watson’s life are not moving fast enough for him this Thursday morning. He is ready for breakfast. I told him life at the lake is on a different time zone but he is not buying it. Guess we need to get moving!
Road Trip
We are on our first road trip to the Lake Hamilton for this year. Watson and Aunt JuJu are ready to get there! Lots of construction on I30 and we were stop and go for about 90 minutes going out from Texarkana. So our little man was getting a little fustrated. Normally he travels so well, sleeps most of the way, but that stop and start got him tired, along with his momma and his aunt.
Spring, Sounds and Smells
Don’t know what Watson is searching for, but he seems hypnotized by the smell of the green, freshly mowed grass. That particular smell always brings waves of memories rushing through my mind, wonderful spring mornings in Arkansas. I always stop and take in the smell, going back time to my childhood. So, I like to thing Watson is thinking back to his first summer and that special feeling of love and security we get from special sounds and smells of spring.
TBT for Birth Week
When Watson first came into our lives he weighed a big 2.8 lbs. I was afraid to leave him in laundry room for fear he would get stuck behind the washer or dryer.
He was the runt of the litter and is really small for a schnauzer. He is only about 10 lbs. But oh he has that terrier personality!

My toes have always been one of his favorite toys.
When the movie about a dogs purpose came out it got me to thinking about this puppy and his purpose in my life. He has brought life to the walls of our home and warmth to our heart.
I am going to take a few minutes tonight and reflect on the past 3 years and consider where I would be without this boy.
Here is hoping all is well with everyone tonight.
Birth Day of Watson
Watson was a sleepy head this morning. I kept on reminding him it was his birthday, but he just wanted to be lazy! Storms had rolled through Fort Worth in the middle of the night so with the thunder and rain the sleeping was good.
But it did not take him long to get up and get ready for the day. My boy turns 3. I love this dog.

Birthday Eve
Only 1 more day!! Watson is not as excited about turning 3 as the rest of our family. I think he feels like every day is a celebration of life. May we all live and love like our puppies.
Manic Monday
Watson was up early and ready to run this morning. He must realize this is his birthday week. He seems to be tearing up all his old toys, knowing new ones are coming soon! Hope everyone has a wonderful manic Monday.
