Christmas is a wonderful time of year around our house. But there is just something mystical once the tree is up and the lights are shining. Watson will sit and gaze at them, at least for a moment or two!

The treasure of life. Sometimes we do not focus on the day to day joy of life. Our Lainey was really trying to figure out Watson that day. No luck of course. But that is what makes him and her a treasure for sure.

At home today in Fort Worth, decorating and baking for the holidays. Going to get cold tonight, so hope all we know and love stay warm. 
Rules Vanish
I have always wondered about people who have a pet and really treat it like a pet. Mine, including Watson, have always been a part of the family. I really like him the best. So those who say to not let your pet on the couch, or don’t sleep with that dog! They just don’t understand that Watson belongs in my home and those rules do not apply and if I ever have one of those thoughts, one look at that face and it will vanish. I am curious, how many of you really have pets or are they family members?
Balloon challenge
My nephew wanted a challenge for his balloon business. I requested him to construct one of Watson. He got busy and this is what he came up with. I think he is pretty talented! Thank you Darby Wright

Watson was not named after a mythical creature or god. A friend wanted to name him Sherlock, I decided on Watson. I think it fits him perfectly. But, if I had been looking for a name from Greek mythology it would be Gelos, the personaification of laughter. Everyday, this puppy makes me laugh.
